ok I changed those table types using phpmyadmin and it seems to have worked just find without any errors. I am hoping that some of the structure of the tables has not been corrupted since I have been using these tables in there current state for over a year without any apparent errors. I think I may install a test copy of Threads on my test site and check for any differences between table structure.
Thanks once again Josh for the insight Hopefully this will alleviate the problems with integration I was having.
