Its possible your path to sendmail was correct. However, there are two fields in primary settings for you to enter your site email address. You need to make sure you used valid email addresses in those two fields. In addition, some hosts won't accept sendmail requests that have a return address off the server. For instance if your domain is
www.itshere.com you may not be able to use an email address of []me@hotmail.com[/] in your primary settings, but rather something like []webmaster@itshere.com[/]
