Ensure that you have the 4 variable files from your 5.45c UBB in the cgi directory. Resubmit all settings (General Settings, Style Settings, Forum Settings, etc...), rebuild member files, rebuild forum data (submit General Settings with checkmark at bootom selected) and rebuild the search index. I'm not sure if any problems will occur with the Who's Online hack.
Removing profile fields is neccessary when some hacks you are using create extra fields in the user profiles. These can cause some problems. There is a thread at
ubbdev.com in the Chit Chat forum with instructions and scripts to remove the extra fields. Keep in mind that hacks are not supported by Infopop and it is recommended you backup all files before attempting to use any hacks.
