since I upgraded to 6.04a my sendmail doesn't work anymore. New users can't register and so on...
I checked all my settings and they seem ok. My board is hosted on a NT server.
Email Service to Use: SMTP Email [Win32]
SMTP Server Name [Win32] : mail.myserver.com
It worked before so I'm wondering what might be wrong. I get the following error message when accessing any email related function :
Failed to connect to mail server: Unknown error Please check your SMTP mail server name. Make sure the server exists and will allow relay from this IP address or domain. The server you have entered into your configuration does not appear to exist or is not allowing a connection from this UBB. at I:/...cut.../cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ubb_lib_mail.cgi line 39
I checked with the Host and no problem from their side... no other problem for me either since I'm using that same mail server with other programs.
Any ideas please ? I get mails from users trying to register (which is hard enough in itself) and they are driven away by this error...
