I understand where you're coming from too Geoff but perhaps allow the user to modify it up UNTIL the point where someone actually votes
Agree that an Admin should be able to always modify any type of post on the board.
As for normal users I think they should be able to modify their OWN poll up until someone actually votes (then it would take an Admin/Mod to correct anything in it) - (IMHO)
Regardless of the preview and edit the actual functionality of creating questions really needs to be corrected / restored
