Active Topics in 7.1 don't use the search system anymore, instead they use their own system. These old links won't work, instead you'll need to use:
ubbthreads.php/ubb/activetopics/range/1
ubbthreads.php/ubb/activetopics/range/2
ubbthreads.php/ubb/activetopics/range/7

-or-

ubbthreads.php?ubb=activetopics&range=1
ubbthreads.php?ubb=activetopics&range=2
ubbthreads.php?ubb=activetopics&range=7

I am a Web Development Contractor, I do not work for UBBCentral. I have provided free User to User Support since the beginning of these support forums.
