They have made it illegal to protest anywhere near parliament for any reason. It is also illegal to protest blocking any vital services, and fuel has been added to a growing list.
It also used to be the law that you could go anywhere without fear of trespass - you could not be prosecuted for walking anywhere. The signs 'trespassers will be prosecuted' was or is still illegal to display - however they have now made certain places a crime if you do walk into them.
So slowly laws are being brought in to restrict what we can and can't do freely.
