I have filed a support ticket with the site but it seems that is not a quick way to resolve issues with this software, so I am here now. I am new to forum management at this level and the install, etc., was done while someone else was in charge of the process; I just work for the site owner. But there are a few issues that, if anyone has an answer, I would love to hear it and we are prepared to pay for outside support if necessary.

1. Layout. When comparing how our forum - www.domspeak.com - is appearing, vs, say http://domina.ms/thebuzz/ - there are left and right columns that I do not see how to add in the site admin. Is this a CSS/templates editing issue or something else?

2. Embeds. Most forums I have seen limit/format the size of, say, an embedded YouTube video. How can this be done with this software?

3. Fonts. How can I change font types and sizes on the board?

4. Header. How can I change the header or add topics - like one for FAQ/Forum help?

5. Posting issue. The Off Topics and Politics Board does not seem to function correctly for anyone who is not an administrator. Simple things like trying to use the quote function, or add a link, will not work for Moderators or regular board members, but does work for Adminstrators? I figure it is a permissions issue, but I don't know how to resolve it.

I feel stupid having to ask for help like this, but I hope the people here will be kind and remember I am new to this. Thank you very much.

1. Enable them: CP -> Portal & Islands -> Column Layout, additional settings can be found in CP -> Portal & Islands -> Portal

2. The display is fluid for HTML5 display for a wide array of browsers (such as market leaders cellphones and tablets). If you try to enforce widths it'll no longer be fluid based on browser size and could result in mobile pages no longer being mobile capable as the size can easily break the viewport.

3. common.css holds a lot of default information for the forum, you can offset the options through the forum styles you have installed (and introduce new entries with the "Extra CSS" area), however the fonts and font sizes are set to industry standards for display for the wide array of browsers, some fonts just don't exist on some systems.

4. The Forum help is handled through the faq language file.

5. Sounds like a permission issue, copy permissions from a forum that works correctly then customize as needed.
