My first guess, is there is a path issue. Where it says this (include_path='\') is a bit suspect. Normally that should include the current working directory and maybe a libs directory. By default all of my php installs have this:
.:/usr/local/lib/php
Can you load up a phpinfo() page and look what it says when you scroll down to the include_path portion? You might need to end up editing your php.ini file to correct this.
