UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Version 7/8 Support Registration Mark Display Error

I'm running 7.2.2

In the Control Panel/Display Options/General/Text for homepage URL:, I inserted the "&reg" for the registration mark. I then update the page and everything on the discussion board looks fine. However, when I go back to make a change in the control panel and then update again, I get ® instead of just ® on the discussion board.

Any suggestions on how to keep a registration mark intact?
