We have just got an Ipod Touch. Very nice it is
However we are unsure about the correct way to upload CD's that we own to the Ipod.
We thought we were doing it correctly, but have just lost 2GB of songs
We were copying the CD's to the computer HDD and then syncing it to the Ipod (via itunes). Then as we only have limited space on the computer, removing them from the laptop.
This was going fine until one CD could not be read fully by the computer. We then removed the offending CD from the playlist which seemed to remove everything from the Ipod apart from those CD's that we had not yet deleted from the HDD.
Are we doing this correctly?
We have 2-300 CD's to put onto the Ipod, so need to know the best way (step by step if possible as we are new to this modern technology LOL).
Also is there anyway to backup the Ipod in case data is lost from the Ipod?
