i don't get what's the issue..
do you prefer text over html, even if your client can receive html?

Some people do prefer text only as I've already got complaints (just because I provide the latest Outlook, doesn't mean they want the latest features.) It's obviously a big deal to a number of folks though as everytime I subscribe to an email newsletter, etc., it seems to prompt "Would you prefer HTML or text?"
