Is it possible to make an SQL connection to another database (other than where all my ubbt_* are in) in a custom island?

Like first closing current SQL connection and open a new one?
When i do that it's tells me that the database logging.ubbt_TOPICS doesn't excist. That's for sure smile but how can i get my external data in a custom island.
Perhaps a include session or maybe somebody else has another great idea?
