another thing that happens, if it's a WHM based server.. anytime you upload any new install of ubbthreads (ie: and upgrade), it will notice the mail scripts and flag them..
the message to the Server admin is to the effect that 'possibly spammy CGI scripts' uploaded bla bla bla...
if one goes JUST by the automated mail, then they can be duped into believing it's CGI, when it really isn't
