Sounds like the stylesheet is ineffective. Make sure the "stylesheets" folder and it's contects are properly uploaded.
I can't recall how many stylesheet options the demo has, but I think it's more than one. So, you might also try enabling a
different stylesheet via Control Panel/Display Preferences.
