Well... for the same reason that posts can not be edited or deleted after a certain period of time...

I was hoping to use that as a way to rate users and do not want users to delete the bad reviews... like if wanted to write something in your profile as a warning to others I would not want you to delete it... I want it there for all to see...

If all the users can delete the comments they do not like... what is the use for that?

The comments are nice for notes about merging account and similar too...

HOW ABOUT: I DO NOT WANT USERS TO DELETE MY COMMENTS?

Spam: Spammers can be deleted and here is one big problem with this software... when a user is deleted for Spamming all his posts and PM's, and member profiles comments should go...
