It is about time that UBB.threads now has a vBulletin 3.8.x importer. I have heard the news about many people considering to drop vBulletin due to their increase in prices for vB 4.0, and I think this was the right time to release a vBulletin 3.8.x importer for those planning to switch to other forum software packages.
Now, I have some questions about the importers for UBB.threads 8.0:
- I read in another thread that UBB.threads 8.0 will have an importer for phpbb3. Are there any other importers planned? Other than phpBB and vBulletin, I think that some high priority importers would be Invision Power Board 3.x, SMF 2.x, and FusionBB 3.x.
- Will the UBB.classic and UBB.threads 6.x importers be updated for UBB.threads 8.0 with the ability to bypass UBB.threads 7.x entirely? Or will you be required to import to the latest version of UBB.threads 7.x before upgrading to UBB.threads 8.0?
