Have you tested the other email features, such as email a post and registration emails.
I would try emailing a post to a email address outside of your domain.
Then access your main email account used in the forum and do the same.
Could be your host changed something.
All of the emails come from what is set in:
Control Panel ยป Primary Settings
Board Email Address:
you may need to expand the advanced options to check for items such as smtp server.
