UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums Resources and Customizing How Do I? Private forums for restricted users

Hi, just a thought, we have lots of users using PM's to communicate because we dont have a forum for that area & my boss wont let them have a public forum.

Is it possible to provide a private forum for only those users to use? Ive had a look at groups and had a look around but dont want to move the users into another group, just give access and that doesn't seem possible.

Any ideas? thanks
