The quick answer is no to all of your questions.
However there are forum/site permissions you can set to mitigate some of the problems.
Not knowing your site url.
What do you allow the guest or user group to do?
You could enable registration approval.
Since most spammers are new users or guests with having a post count of zero or 1.
You could limit there postings to using captcha, then after so many posts they are promoted to a group with more ease of use.
There is also a mod at ubbdev using the stop forum spam database.

The issue is the more secure you make a site from spammers the more difficult you make it for legit users.

The problem today is, spam used to be automated. Today a lot of it is a person typing on the screen. As time goes on it is probably going to get worse.
