It selects members totally at random and the info comes from their profile.
Beyond that, you'd need to mod the code to do anything else.
I do not activate it primarily due to it being totally random. I don't want members of my community to be confused wondering why I am featuring one member or another. Especially as not all members are of equal value.
After all we all have members of our communities that we would not really want to be seen as "featured" don't we?
