My client is using ubb v7.5.6p2 and reported an issue where PM notification settings were being changed on different users.
After looking into it, I found that the changeuser script in the Control Panel is setting the value to on/off. Meanwhile, the user's editdisplay script saves the same value as yes/no (the same value looked for in the sendmessage script).
Unfortunately, this means that if an admin saves the Preferences page for a User from the Control Panel, the value is set to effectively disable private messages regardless of what it shows in the Control Panel.
Is it possible to have this bug fixed in the next version of UBB threads?
