You either need to do one or the other.
Edit the complete config.inc.php file and change all of the paths in the file
or if you can access the control panel.
Goto every page and verify the settings and re-save one by one.
One way or the other you may still need to re-save in the cp. Because some info is just in the config file and some info is placed in the db tables
it would be the same as the how to move site faq.
