More a shout to the site administrators (as opposed to forum administrators). The link to "version 8" in the site's "Features" page (
https://www.ubbcentral.com/features.php) leads to a forum page which required me to log into the forum. After I did, I was told that permission was denied.
It is a rare site that publicises an upcoming release, points visitors at a page with the details, then prevents them from seeing those details. Must be a unique marketing approach that I'm not aware of.
