That's BS. The release should have been yanked and reissued. Or a point release should have been released subsequent to the original release. Releasing updates to files silently is the worst thing a vendor can do to their customers. Now I have to redo three boards because UBB didn't bother to document the fact that they were fixing bugs after the release. Color me irritated.
Agree completely that it should have been released as 7.5.8.1 as UBB.Classic would have been ages ago, but the powers that be at this point don't; this is something you'd have to take up with "official staff" via the support area.
BTW, this isn't the first time this has happened; there are several discussions on this around here somewhere.
