I received a PM saying below. Now the only thing I have done lately was to allow "users" to be able search the forum.
But i don't think it is related. to below question.
Does anyone know what this could be? is there a setting i need to change or..?

IP addresses have started showing up for everyone on BritBike forum, which are easy to track to a physical location. They only appear when I'm logged in, but appear under everyone's address. For example, under Gothenburg, Sweden your IP address appears as (xxx.148.69.112). If I google than number I get a variety of information, such as:
The number of this IP address is xxx.148.69.112. This IP address is located in Sweden, and refers to Knivsta, Uppsala Lan. IP Country code is SE. IP address is assigned to "Posten AB". In organization "Sweden Post".
I'm on a DSL line now so, like yours, it doesn't give away too much. But earlier when logged in at the university the IP address showed up as University of Arizona which is a little bit less anonymous than I'm comfortable with.
