UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads Bug Reports Read (views) counter ceased to work after updating to 7.5.8

Been too many years as this has happened in older versions so cannot recall what the fix was but

I just updated from V 7.5.6p2 to 7.5.8 and now all the counters for posts viewed have ceased to increase at all
I posted a thread 24 hours ago and know at least 20 others have read it but the view counter is still at zero

Server Type Linux
Web Server Apache
PHP Version 5.5.19
MySQL Version 5.6.17-log


Fix/workaround ?
