The 7.5.x series has so much of the window display and sizing hard-coded throughout the scripts and templates, that makes automatically turning on/off columns based on display widths (mobile sizes vs tablet/laptop/desktop sizes) not really something that can be performed by just a dash of CSS or a dash of JavaScript.
That's a Bummer.. that would help a little until 7.6 gets rolled out.
