So, there is no way to drop out of a Private Message conversation and still see it on the Private Message's list,
and still read it.

If you delete the Private Message the software auto generates a post in the PM thread that says ("User" has removed themself from this conversation) Correct ?

If all participants delete, the thread disappears. Correct
