I am getting more and more problems with email Delivery Host: smtp.mailchannels.net
they reject email coming from our forum.
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 5.7.1 [CS] Message blocked. If this is a false positive, please report this to your hosting service provider.
my host wrote in a reply:
The mails may be detected as spam due to its spam contents. Each email is evaluated and rated according to spam rules to determine how likely they are to be actual spam. The mail servers will evaluate both the title and body content of the message to ensure there are few, if any, references to popular spamming terms.
Please make sure that the below points are followed:
> Don't use the word "free" too many times.
> Don't use ALL CAPS.
> Don't use lots of colored fonts.
> Only use one exclamation point at a time!
> Stay away from words you'd see in spam: Viagra, drugs, porn, guaranteed winner.
One of the most frequent forums had the word FREE in the header its now removed. member writes motorcycles brands like BSA in captions and and when they wish to sell they often use '71 for a 1971 model.
I have tried now to edit my forums to only use the first letter in ea forum header and tried to find the language files that are used for emails.
Could you advice which language files I should edit so that there are so few captions as possible in outgoing emails?
Any other advice how to act is also appreciated.
