The UBB Software development team wasn't interested and said no one else would really have a need for it so I never passed it out.
This is not true.
This goes way back to June 2016. What was said in the "UBB.threads 7.6.0 Snapshot Bug Reports" topic was that your "MasterAdmin Mod for 760" modifications should be posted in its own topic thread, not a testing/bug report topic.
In addition, this is from further down in that discussion:
You have a modification to help ensure your coadmin can't access parts of the control panel; you're worried that said coadmin could download the settings page and submit them back to your forums to bypass your modification.
We cannot help as we see the admin access as admin access; to completely recode the control panel to add in referrer checking would be a lengthy task.
If you cannot trust an admin, they shouldn't have any access. think about it, they can already delete all of the content on your site, you're worried about them changing settings.
Isaac has been trying to show you that the control panel is secure, since you have to have admin access in order to change any settings, and an admin is an admin, their permissions are set to allow them to run your site. Personally, I'm in the group of, the cp is secure, and if you can't trust an admin he shouldn't be an admin.
and again:
Though, for note; a Global Moderator is ultimately an admin of the front end of your site, and they're capable of purging your entire forum... If these users can't be trusted at some level, I'd advise against having them at all.
Getting back on topic, you were told that if you have a custom modification that you wanted to share, you are more than welcome to post and share it on UBBDev with the rest of the custom modifications.
As in depth as Jaisp's modification is, there are countless things that can go wrong with any code changes which will not see any support from the development team. Modifications to the base code are completely unsupported. Furthermore, such an major code modification may not work as intended or at all with future versions of the UBB.threads software.
