I am not a expert in php code.
I do not use subscriptions myself so I have no way to test it.
And I don't think subscriptions have been addressed yet, for many years.
other than some minor cleanup, not very many people use the feature.
But the language variable in that case appears to be for if you use a different language pack wherever the word "month" appears.
For example If I had a Spanish forum I would change that variable to "Mes" in the language file.
But presently it appears that there is not a need for it probably in the past there was.
So right now it is not used nor breaking anything as far as I can see..
Should it be corrected yes
Is it urgent, probably not yet.
As stated by the people that are now coding the program they are still working on issues that break the forum and try to clean up not needed code as they find it.
They know there are still items wrong, but making the forum work for everyone must be first..
Remember over 13 years there has been several people working on the ver 7 program and each person had different ideas and methods they used.
I would suggest you request to be a beta tester
That would be helpful to everyone
