Please replace it with something less distracting :/ (my personal opinion, and not related to the opinions of anyone else here.)
Animated avatars are probably not needed on a support forum. It makes it really hard to post support replies (trouble-shooting) when your animated avatar keeps jumping out, saying "LOOK AT ME!!! LOOK AT ME!!! LOOK AT ME!!!"
I write this as I search the firefox/chrome repository for an extension to selectively block animated gifs.
