I am going to be upgrading from UBB Classic in the very near future, probably within the next couple of months.

UBB Classic has been a very good system, we have been running it happily for over 2 years. But even with our own server it came to a complete halt last weekend. The load hit 100% and stayed there for about an hour. In the finish we had to shut the board. This is not UBBs fault just our promotion was a bigger success than we expected and we got swamped, price of success I guess <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

So now we pretty much have to upgrade to Threads. I have two questions that will help me immensely
1)What features of Classic are not available in Threads
2)Can anyone give me an idea of how many simulteous users you can get on a dedicated server? (We are running an AMD Athlon 1200, with IDE disks)

Thanks for your time
