I took your advice and rechecked all permissions and the path statement. I played it safe and simply reset them all over. You were right!
Your statement : I'd verify that this is the correct full path from the server's root. Your install seems to choke on any script which tries to include the main.inc.php file. Was right on the money. All is working fine now.
