Here is what my server guys tell me:
This still doesnt explain why UBB works fine for about an hour on the remote server and then decides to error out. We did exactly as the person you quoted mentioned and still after an hour of successfull board operation the errors begin.
It did seem to work fine for about an hour and then the boards would go down with errors that say the following:
Warning: mysql_query(): Unable to save result set in /home/fishingm/public_html/forum/mysql.inc.php on line 107 SQL ERROR: Database error only visible to forum administrators
Warning: mysql_fetch_array(): supplied argument is not a valid MySQL result resource in /home/fishingm/public_html/forum/mysql.inc.php on line 133
The above came up in the forums after an hour or so of smooth operation with the remote server.
