UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.classic UBB.classic 5 Support Closing off Forum 8 and 9

Hi:
I currently have Forums 8 and 9 turned off in the CP, but it seems UBB still treats them as active forums during search, and knowledgable members actually can navigate and post to these forums as well.

Is there any definitive way to close Forum 8 and 9 off?
