I am attempting to establish a private forum for those who register for a conference upcoming. From Forum Settings, I have:
- Established a forum password
- Chosen to Restrict Viewing and
Writing of Posts
- Chosen Minimum Security
- Designated that only authorized
users can post.
Everything seems fine. And when users attempt to enter the forum, they are asked for their login information and the forum password. Upon successful completion, they are shown the following greeting:
Thank you! We have confirmed
your identity and are granting
you access to the forum. You will
be forwarded to the forum
automatically within a few seconds.
However, the forwarding does *not* take them to the forum; instead, it returns them to the login screen, where they are asked again for their information. The engine seems to be stuck in a feedback loop.
