Hi,

I'm after a little advice on how to avoid cached copies of threads.

My isp (Not server provider) has installed a webcache on their access, meaning that some users have to refresh the page 2-3 times before their most recent post appears.

I have changed all the forums to Maximum security in the hope that since it dynamically re-builds the thread it might fix the problem, but unfortunately to no avail.

Anyone any ideas as to what i can do to get round this issue??

Whoa, back up just a moment.

Your ISP's cache is handling pages generated by the CGI scripts?

You need to immediately contact your ISP and tell them to fix the cache, or take you off of it. Something is VERY wrong with their configuration.

If they refuse or are unable to resolve the problem, I'll need to know what OS your server is running before I can give you further advice on getting past the cache...
