I just know it has to do with the mappings for perl and cgi...I have downloaded and printed out the docs help for the mapping .cgi and .pl in Microsoft IIS4 Web Server only like I said that Win2k is a little bit different so I must be missing something.

Well I finally got all of the mappings setup correctly and the entire UBB seems to be working good but only 2 things now do not work. One when I try to call the cp.html with my browser it brings up the control panel and if I try to click on anything else to the left to configure it all I get is a page not found error. Second when I click on register in the ubb and go through and choose a username and password when I hit submit it just says we are currently upgrading our software and cannot process your registration...help help help please!

You must finish all installation steps for UBB to function properly.

Can you give us a link to your control panel? Are you sure all links are correct and all of the files are present?

Unfortunately I am unable to send you the link because the server that it is on is only running a web server locally...the outside net access is shut down at the moment....But yeah I am sure all of the paths are set correctly....the board basically does work but I cannot configure it with the Control Panel...I can specify alot of the settings in the ultbb.setup file or whatever the name is.....

it would appear this problem is wider in scope than previously thought. I too have the same problem. I also installed an older version of the product with no problem at all. When I tried to install it on another site, the same errors came up despite the mapping being correct and the files existing within the proper subdirectory.
