Have a "flakey" recent visitors function. Usually when it starts acting up i get a message similar to this.

Quote
Can't use string ("1") as a HASH ref while "strict refs" in use at ubb_lib_pntf.cgi line 876.
Happened in 6.2.1 and upgraded to 6.2.1.1 last night. Happened again today.

Seems to happen several times a day when i click on "admin" view and then RV resets and eventually i can see the admin view again.

My board is here http://www.scducks.com/ubb/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

Hey guys, obviously that was first post on the forum, i ALWAYS try to read first and usually find what i'm looking for.

Maybe i didn't read far enough this time.....

Curious whether anyone thinks this might be bug, or personal board issue. Install is clean with no hacks at this time.

Try going into the control panel Recent Visitor screen and clear the record.

I tried that in the upper clear record portion. But not below the "only touch this if someone from InfoPop tells you" line. Didn't clear it up. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />

Clear the log via the PNTF panel, then turn the cache back on...

It will still occur - when it does *IMMEDIATELY* download the noncgi/cache/pntf/now.cgi file and mail it to []charles@infopop.com.[/] I'll need to examine the file to figure out why it's trying to do what it's doing...

Well i feel a little dumb right now <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

Got my fingers crossed. Error has not reoccured. Appears i had been clearing record...but not log... thanks for pointing that out Charles. Have cache enabled after clearing log and seems ok now. If i get it again i'll follow your instructions.

Thanks Guys!!
