I really don't know what happened. I'm running v. 6.1.0.3 with no hacks. I was using the forum as always and after sending a message I didn't get the usual "thanks for posting" message. All that happened is that the page with the threads reloaded. So instead of posting it was pretty much like using my back button.

So I logoff and now I'm finding that I can't even log on. The main forum index simply reloads after I type in my user name and password and click on logon. It just brings me back to the previous screen (no error message, nothing about whether I logged on successfully or not).

What is going on? Even the register function isn't working. Click on "agree" and... it takes you back to the forum index.

Please HELP!

Charles, I've tried clearing the cookies both using this link and IE. I've even cleared out my cache.

The problem is that nobody is able to log on, not just me. And nobody is able to register either. The entire board looks to have frozen all of a sudden!

HELP!

I don't know if this info can help, but I'm unable to get into the CP as well. The "Login Request" screen comes up, I type in my username and password, and when I click "Submit Identification Now" the page seems to just reload.

Charles, try typing in a random username and password on my forum or CP (forum is translated but layout is the same). You see that it just reloads the previous page. The same happens regardless of what you type in.

I'm going to ask you to use the support ticket system for further assistance on this issue. Infopop will need to examine your UBB.

I think your server can't accept POST calls, and enters the site in the address bar... (ultimatebb.cgi) For example http://www.mecz.pl/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=agree -> 'Accept' in Polish -> http://www.mecz.pl/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi; http://www.mecz.pl/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=login -> 'Login' in Polish -> http://www.mecz.pl/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi

I'm trying in []webmaster@mecz.pl[/] and it's not accepting it for some reason.

LK, the board has been running fine for well over a year now. It's only today that everything locked up all of a sudden! All the translations were made using the Wordlet feature so I didn't mess with the code. For the same reason I chose not to have any hacks installed.

What does it mean that my server "can't accept POST calls" and could this happen just like that, out of nowhere?

Sorry Charles, the form wasn't going through because I was typing it all in too quickly and didn't notice a small mistake.

The ability to POST may have been restricted by your web hosting provider - you should ask them if they've done anything...

Made an edit, didn't see your reply at the time. Sorry. It was my fault with the form, being careless, or maybe just plain nervous about the situation and what to do.

I'm sure the web hosts would have informed me of any changes.

What's strange is that the "lost password" function isn't even working. I type in my email to give it a try... and it just reloads the 'http://www.mecz.pl/cgi-local/ultimatebb.cgi' page.

Just out of curiosity is it possible to clear the forum cache without actually logging into the CP? Might be worth a quick try.
