I just up-graded from 6.3.1.1 to 6.4.0.1 Everything so far is fine with the exception of 1 crazy thing which I'm sure someone can tell me how to fix it.

When anyone logs in as "XXXXX":
The ">> Hello XXXXX [Logout]" looks like just:
">> " when using Netscape 4.78 thru 7.0
No name or the word "Logout" in brackets. On every other page it's there and correct!

When anyone logs in as "XXXXX":
Using MS Internet Explorer, everything on the main page is correct.
6.3.11 did not do this:

http://www.fiyrra.com/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi

Any ideas? Thanks in advance...

Correction:

With Netscape 6.3.2 the main page displays correctly. With Netscape 4.79 the main page does not display the user name and the: [Logout}

Yet any other page is fine. The Java Script is exactly the same on the main page as it is on the other pages because it is generated from the ultimatebb.cgi file.

I hate Netscape 6 to DEATH!

So why are you using it? NS 7 has been out for months and it works great.

Well, I don't know what happened, but now the main page is showing the members name and logout in brackets. Must be my host was having some kind of problem.

Love the "Directory" in this upgrade! Now all we need is "sticky" topics......Thanks!
