When I upgraded from 6.2 to 6.3.1 my custom graemlins dissapeared. Is this a bug?

I had to go in and try to remember what code I had used for each one to re-add it back to the list.

On a happy note my members are rather having fun with the missing graemlins and have turned it into a community building exercise..lol...

You probably overwrote vars_graemlins.cgi when you upgraded.

You should never, ever overwrite any vars_ file, except for vars_wordlets_email if you're coming from 6.2.0 or prior.

Yup that's what I did. I uploaded all the var files that were in the upgrade folders.

Since you overwrote most of your variable file (they contain all your board's custom settings) you should go back and review every feature's settings in the Control Panel as nearly everything will now be back to the factory default.
