First a much needed feature suggestion... Have a preview window for the Welcome PM. I had to register 3 times anew just to see how it looked every time I changed something... :rolleyes:

Now for the bug... Since it accepts both UBB code and html, it gets confused with bulleted lists.

I inserted an unordered bulleted list, and what happened? It converted the <li>text</li> into [/*]text everywhere (yes, as text), and left the html <ul> and </ul> tags at start and end display as text.

(The slash in the bullet above is to prevent it to convert.)

This is a known problem with the list code parser. At the moment, the main fix relies on a feature that has been pushed off to an undefined future release (see sub listify in ubb_lib, and the commented out code in UBBCode_core - it says 6.5, but it lies). As a temporary workaround, add a type attribute of A, a, or 1 to the ul tag to ensure it gets converted into a [list].

Well, I just used astrisks instead of bullets. <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/laugh.gif" alt="" />

But still, the preview for the Welcome PM suggestion stands. Much needed and easily implemented. Especially for such cases as this one when you can't be sure what you'll get even if your code's correct.
