It's still not quite right - now I notice it;s not tracking everything as far as topics and threads. The total still seems low too - although it's showing everything on the front page, my numbers seem to be less than 1/2 of what they should be right now.
On the detail view for example, right now it says 30 online, but doesn't show all the cats or topics. The percentages don't add up to 100%:
31 visitors in the past 60 minutes Our visitor record is 75, set on March 30, 2004 08:18 PM. 29 visitors viewed the forum & category summary in the past 60 minutes.
View details sorted by: visitor count | forum name | categories Visitors Popularity Forum Name Category 3 9% Aftermarket Performance General Discussions 3 9% User Submitted Videos General Discussions 2 6% PWC's For Sale Classifieds 2 6% Technical Support - Sea-Doo Technical Support 1 3% Questions about SBT About SBT 1 3% Parts & Accessories For Sale Classifieds 1 3% Technical Support - Yamaha Technical Support Only 7 forums are displayed in this view.
I'm getting over 1200 sessions per day, but this counter rarely tops 40 in a 60 min period. It's much lower aoverall than before the upgrade.

The percentages will never add up to 100% - the percentages are calculated by users "here" divided by users on the board in total.

Here's how it works 31 visitors in the past 60 minutes
3 9% Aftermarket Performance General Discussions 3 9% User Submitted Videos General Discussions 2 6% PWC's For Sale Classifieds 2 6% Technical Support - Sea-Doo Technical Support 1 3% Questions about SBT About SBT 1 3% Parts & Accessories For Sale Classifieds 1 3% Technical Support - Yamaha Technical Support 3 of 31 is about 9% If I'm not mistaken, the entire list isn't shown to reduce load. You will only see the top entries in the list. You can view the entire list of the users online, and where they are at using the admin view (?ubb=pntf_admin)

OK I understand what the percentages are supposed to be showing now...
My overall numbers are still low though, compared to mt weblogs. I estimate less than 1/2 the people are now showing compared to the last version.
Charles - can you take another look at my site please? And BTW - was I charged for the last service ticket even though it was a bug on your end?

They don't charge for Support Tickets for Bugs. If I'm not mistaken, you would receive a quote before you would be charged.

Correct, I never charge for support tickets that end up being bugs.
In any case, when I did alter your board to fix the bug, Recent Visitors was properly logging all visits made both with the Accelerator and without.
The true measure of traffic on your board is going to be measured by the pageview counter in your control panel...

The page view counter says Pageviews (04/2004): 24592 - does that mean it's only counting this months?

Looking at my weblogs, I have just under 7000 page views to forum files (.cgi) and pages for this month (under 6 days). What do I next need to compare?

What's your cache hit percentage? It's listed next to the pageview count.

So that's about 17,000 scriptviews, which certainly doesn't agree with the 7,000 that your stats generator insisted upon.
That leaves about 10,000 for the Accelerator - does your stats package agree upon that?

I'm not sure how to check - what do I need to look at?
Just for refference, this morning the stats are:
Urchin .cgi pageviews 7,738 Pageviews (04/2004): 29054 Cache hit percentage: 37.13%
Yesterday Urchin .cgi pagerviews 6,984 Pageviews (04/2004): 24592 Cache hit percentage: 36.81%
Difference in one day:
Urchin .cgi calls 754 Control Panel Pageviews 4462
Obviously Urchin isn't tracking all the true pageviews, only .cgi calls.
What's next? Thanks for the help BTW - I want to get this nailed, or at least understand it better.
One thing I notice that's pretty obvious this version to my last is the number of guests reported. I used to have about 2x as many guests reported as Registered - as soon as I upgraded, I have about equal as many guests on as registered. I have not had any kind of surge in registrations either, it started right after the upgrade.
I also notice, in admin view, that guests are not being tracked inside threads - ONLY Forum Summary is tracked. Normal users are displaying correctly, wherever they view, as far as I can tell. This would account for my extreme drop, as MANY of my outside links are directly into a thread, and guests may not go to the forum summary.

Could you reply to the ticket once again? I've lost track of it now that it's closed.
During the reply process, you'll have the option of reopening the ticket. Please do so.
I want to go in via FTP and verify that unregistered users are being logged properly.

It looks like this is a bug - however, as the fix has come so late, it won't make into 6.7.1.
The fix will be present in 6.8, or in 6.7.2 if we choose to make another 6.7 release.

This is fixed in 6.7.2.
For record keeping purposes, the fix landed in rv210.2.11.
