It's not the end of the world - rather a curiosity.

I am running 6.6.0 (with no intention to upgrade until the new software). I've searched this site and the update notes and did not find any reference to this.

If I post the phrase "avatar -" (ie avatar space dash), the server returns 403 permission denied (to main script). If I add an extra space then it will post, but will display as a single space. if I take the space out it works fine too.

I can't see too many people ever encountering this problem, so it is probably low, low, low priority, but I am just curious if there are other such forbidden phrases. It took me almost half an hour to work out what was wrong (incl making sure all the permissiosn were set right on the server) but other users may not be as persistent <img src="https://www.ubbcentral.com/boards/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I am unable to duplicate this behavior on my board running 6.7.2 posting the phrase in a topic subject or post body. Can you be a little more specific as to where you are posting this particular phrase which returns the error.

I would advise upgrading to 6.7.2 at this point, not only to see if this is fixed, as I would assume that the new product upgrader is going to require you to be on 6.7 to function correctly.

My initial year of membership didn't provide for much, so I won't bother signing up again until I have seen the new software (still contemplating other software too in case the new UBB isn't up to scratch). As I said, it's a minor issue and is unlikely to affect the operations of the board.

As for the specifics, I didn't think I could be more specific. The phrase is in a post. Anywhere in a post it seems.

It also doesn't appear to do it on this board, because I tried it in my original post and it did not have a problem with it.
