UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Notification of new registrations?

In ubb.classic, there was an option to receive email notification of new user registrations. We don't want to set the option to approve registrations, we just want to be able to review new regs as they come in. Is there no such option in ubb.threads?

BTW, the other thing we liked about the ubb.classic option was that the email notifications were sent to a separate address than the main board email. There doesn't appear to be any other email field in the control panel except the main board email.

Unfortunately the answer to both of these would be a no. This is something that we're trying to address for version 7 by allowing the admins to set a preference if they want to receive these messages.

this is a very simple mod.

In adduser.php
search for:

// ----------------------------------
// Update the newuser/totaluser cache

Insert before:

$mailer -> send_mail("","","[email protected]","New registration","$Displayname_q just registered.");


substitute [][email protected][/] with your email.
