UBB.threads PHP Forum Software Community Forums UBB.threads 6 Version 6 Support Attachments upload OK download aborts

I'm attempting to get attachments to work on my recently migrated UBB.Threads forum. I did a chmod 777 for the directory that lives in /Library/WebServer/Documents/Attachments on my OS X Server system and can now upload attachments just fine. I look in the server directory and can see the file with "143-whatever.pdf in the Attachments directory. But when I attempt to download the "http://----/ubbthreads/download.php?Number=143" link aborts with a browser "file not found" message.

Any ideas how to get downloads to work?

Thanks...that was the problem. For some reason I thought the Directory and the URL were an either/or situation. You either specified a path on the same machine or a URL to another machine. My mistake. I put in the URL and downloads now work just fine. Thanks for the quick help and patience with someone that does very little of this type of work.
