First Question: Moved to current version of UBB threads and had to shut the forums off because I cannot figure out how to suppress the users personal registration information from their visible profiles. I have looked through the manual and all the control panel options and have come up blank....


Second question: The mods can only delete posts, non of the other moderator options are showing up, event though they are checked in the control panel Moderator settings... any ideas?

In the current version there is no way to actually limit what is displayed in the user profiles. This currently would require a template change.

There should be a "manage topic" box at the bottom of each thread where the moderator will have options like delete, move, etc.

Nope, not showing up. when go into edit post, only see "change this post" and "delete this post"... no lower box as in the past for moderating posts.

any ideas why these would not be showing up?

never mind on hti one, it was a file permissions setting that was incorrect.... still need ideas on the moderator one... could it be file permissions related to? a folder that should be displating this option but is not being allowed to run?

Is there a listing of all the folders and their appropriate permission settings somewhere?

It's actually not on the edit post screen. When reading a thread there should be a "Manage this thread" link in the lower right hand corner of each post. Clicking that should take you down to the bottom, past the quick reply area, where the manage topic dropdown is.
